Ladbrokes plc is a leader in the global betting and gaming market with annual Group revenues of over £1 billion. Ladbrokes is a market leader in retail bookmaking in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Spain where it operates a combined total of more than 2,800 betting shops.
The Challenge
The challenge was twofold:
- To create an attractive, eye catching self service betting terminal whilst maintaining a small footprint
- The second product was to create a “welcome kiosk” designed to enhance customer experience.
- The platform was to incorporating a range of solutions including live odds streaming and a betting facility. The hardware needed to be robust, intuitive and allow customers to access all information at the touch of a button.
The Solution
- Top Screen Media created a bespoke kiosk solution with all the functionalities required that gave Ladbrokes a self service, cost effective yet stylish betting terminal.
- The welcome kiosk was also developed in partnership between Ladbrokes technical team and Top Screen media’s developers to deliver a flexible easy to use solution to its customers.
- All products were delivered according to Ladbrokes strict brand guidelines and quality standards.
Outcome
- Our product enabled customers to access live odds, betting slips, view predicted odds and instantly place a bet with no prior experience of the process.
- It also helped to reduce pressure on customer service staff.
