The Headingley campus of Leeds Metropolitan University has recently undergone a refurbishment to modernise the Student Hub. As a result they wanted a TSM information kiosk by one of the entrances as a way to communicate with students and find out what they want from their University.
With 26,000+ students it can be difficult for everybody’s voice to be heard. The TSM kiosk helps the issue by acting as a student engagement terminal in the heart of the student area. With all the information in one convenient location such as contact details for staff members, help and advice, a calendar of union events, special offers, election voting and so much more, students can find what they’re looking for easily and efficiently
On top of which, it can be used by the University to post adverts and messages on the top signage screen and see them instantly played out to the student area. Likewise, information can be changed and updated in real-time on the kiosks’ touch screen so students can keep up to date with what’s going on without the need to ask staff members or visit message boards.
