Ladbrokes plc is a leader in the global betting and gaming market with annual Group revenues of over £1 billion. Ladbrokes is a market leader in retail bookmaking in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Spain where it operates a combined total of more than 2,800 betting shops.

The Challenge

The challenge was twofold:

  • To create an attractive, eye catching self service betting terminal whilst maintaining a small footprint
  • The second product was to create a “welcome kiosk” designed to enhance customer experience.
  • The platform was to incorporating a range of solutions including live odds streaming and a betting facility. The hardware needed to be robust, intuitive and allow customers to access all information at the touch of a button.

The Solution

  • Top Screen Media created a bespoke kiosk solution with all the functionalities required that gave Ladbrokes a self service, cost effective yet stylish betting terminal.
  • The welcome kiosk was also developed in partnership between Ladbrokes technical team and Top Screen media’s developers to deliver a flexible easy to use solution to its customers.
  • All products were delivered according to Ladbrokes strict brand guidelines and quality standards.

Outcome

  • Our product enabled customers to access live odds, betting slips, view predicted odds and instantly place a bet with no prior experience of the process.
  • It also helped to reduce pressure on customer service staff.
